Travy rules in the city.

Travy put in a solid night of racing to take out Round 2 of the MRT Meltdown series. He placed 7th in qualifying with a time of 50.16. He then went on to take 3rd and 2nd placings in the sprints and 1st in the feature race. Blacknight took out 2nd place for the round and series leader VTRacing again finished on the podium with a 3rd place. Travy was ecstatic with the round win, with great confidence going into the final two rounds. Travy said after the race, " The championship is on like Donkey Kong!"
The best finisher in Div B was Bwaarcode who managed to score a massive 270 points. He qualified 2nd behind Pinpoint, won the two sprints and finished 2nd in the feature. He will be surely pleased with his results and looking forward to the challenge in Division A next week. He chased Boxhead for the closing laps but the rookie showed some maturity. Bwaarcode said, "Started to reel him in a touch through the final turn but was already thinking about not pushing to hard and he was nailing t1 better than I was, forcing me to take chances through the chicane. Still, a valuable second."

MRT Meltdown Is Underway!
The first round of the MRT Meltdown has been completed, with VTRacing again at the top of the charts. With it only being a four round mini series it puts himin good stead to earn a back to back MNR title, which hasn't been done since 2008.
In the team championship, FBI had four top ten Div A drivers and easily took out Round 1 honours with a 305 point lead. Will they continue to dominate in the city?

Austra Racing's VTRacing wins Battle Of The Buzzbox 2010

VTRacing came from behind to clinch the title in the XF GTR. He scored a second place at Westhill which was enough to pass r8. r8 had a tough race at Westhill finishing well down the order in 14th after qualifying 13th. Many said the car was the slower of the two but VTRacing used the XF GTR with speed and consistency to snatch the championship in the final round. VTRacing was found after the cup presentation and asked for a comment. The always humble driver replied, "It does feel a little that I won the series by default with some fast drivers having issues - and if Astro had turned up for the first 3 rounds it might have been a different story."
The team championship was won by OzB who gained a mid series lead and just held on to win the title.

Thank you to the server providers, ARC Russell and BitB. Thanks to the MNR Admin team for setting up, leading the way and Cabby's quickfire stats. Thanks to the MNR Judiciary, they had a lot to do in this series, with lots of reverse grid action, and they performed their duties very timely.
ARC Russ wins Fast and Furious Fox 2010
ARC Russell narrowly beat FBI Zarrac to win his first ever MNR championship. Before the final round at Aston, Russell found himself in third place. When the series leader didn't race the grand finale, the championship was well and truly thrown open. Both Russell and Zarrac were in a good position to pinch the championship. On the night, neither were fast enough to challenge Glen, who scored the maximum available with a pole and two race wins, however Russell was able to score twelve points more then Zarrac which earned him the champpionship by two points.
Congratulations to ARC Russell for the individual, and WTF Racing for the Team Championship win. Thank you to all the drivers that competed in the series. We hope to see you all again in the Battle of the Buzzbox series.
The Buzzbox is back baby!
The Buzzboxes are being rolled out of the garage and tuned for the upcoming series. With a fantastic mix of sprint and endurance races, there is guaranteed to be plenty of action in each round. How many world records will Duck beat? How many times will Durrie roll?
